UHL-X40
4K/HD Multi-Purpose Camera
The UHL-X40 is a 4K/HD 3CMOS multi-purpose separate optics 2-piece camera, featuring an ultra-compact, lightweight, and low power consuming broadcast quality camera head. The low weight payload improves the performance of the Pan & Tilt head, and its size is less intrusive.
The CMOS sensor incorporates a global shutter pixel architecture, enabling the camera to capture natural images even under challenging situations.
The UHL-X40 meets a range of point-of-view camera purposes, including high-end surveillance applications.
Ultra-compact Camera Head
Featuring the unique 2-piece construction, the camera head weighs only 1.1 kg (2.4 lb) and the heat generated is significantly lower than the conventional compact 4K cameras. The UHL-X40 fits the applications where size and heat of the camera matter, though the picture quality is crucial.
UHD Global Shutter Imager
A 3-CMOS optical system using a Global Shutter CMOS sensor boasts an S/N of 62dB and a sensitivity of F11 (2160p 50) / F10 (2160p 59.94). The high dynamic range of the sensor produces high-quality images with excellent color reproduction. The UHL-X40 is equipped with newly developed Global Shutter CMOS sensors, capturing natural images with less interaction when shooting LED screens, clear of geometric distortion during still frame replay, and free from flash band effects when the camera is shooting under strobe lights or flashes from still cameras.
Key Features
- Optical Vignetting Correction (OVC)
The UHL-X40 includes automatic Vignetting correction and F stop ramping compensation for the zoom lens, minimizing dark corners and overall loss of light when the lens is telephoto and the iris is open.
- HD Simultaneous Output
The simultaneous HD output at the CCU can be either a down-conversion of an original viewing angle or an extraction to zero in on an area of interest within a fixed 4K image. With the HD cutout, CCU feeds the two images with different viewing angles simultaneously.
2-piece construction with Fiber Extension
Connection from camera head to CCU is a standard duplex SM (single mode) fiber with up to 10 km length, delivering not only the uncompressed 4K/HD video, but also a 1000BASE-T Ethernet trunk channel is available through the fiber extension for transport of PTZ control commands, script data of teleprompter, etc.
