Ikegami to Show Latest 4K Medical Imaging Solutions at CMEF 2024, Shanghai

　Ikegami will promote the latest additions to its range of medical imaging products on Booth 5.2H22 at the China International Medical Equipment Fair. The exhibition and its supporting conference will be held from April 11-14 at the National Exhibition & Convention Centre in Shanghai.

“Ikegami has over 50 years of experience in the medical electronics market, building on over 70 years developing and selling TV studio related equipment,” comments Yoshihisa Hirabayashi, Manager of Ikegami Medical Solution Sales Department. “At CMEF 2024 we will be demonstrating the very high quality video capture, recording and display capabilities of our products. They are designed to deliver the accurate reproduction necessary for live surgical study and post-operative reference purposes as well as student training. Precise rendering and reproduction of surgical detail with faithful colour accuracy, easy focusing and wide range optical sensitivity are characteristics of all Ikegami medical imaging products and systems. The booth will be coordinated into three areas allocated respectively to endoscopes, surgical microscopes and CIT (chip-in-tip) cameras.”

Recent additions to the Ikegami medical product range include the MKC-X200 Full HD camera which employs a 1/2.8 inch CMOS sensor. This model has improved sensitivity to F11 and delivers brighter images than its predecessor. Compact and lightweight, it is suitable for use in operating theatres, in microsurgery and in examination rooms.

The MKC-X300 camera is a versatile Full HD model suitable for transmitting and recording images that are required in the clinical environment. A high sensitivity of F13 at 2000 lux enables clear image capture even in low-light.

In addition to Ikegami’s acclaimed MKC-X800 series 4K camera modules, a new generation of 4K ICG modules will be displayed to provide solutions for endoscopy, especially laparoscopy.

Among medical monitors on demonstration will be the 27 inch LCD MLW-2760C which delivers high image quality including accurate colour reproduction. The monitor has an LED backlight supporting 900 cd/m2 maximum display brightness and can reproduce 1,073,740,000 colours, enabling faithful quality in combination with the MKC-X300 camera. The MLW-2760C is drip-proof and easy to clean: important factors in a surgical environment. Also on show will be the MLW-2627C-DC 26-inch medical 3D LCD monitor and MLW-2750UHD 27-inch medical 4K LCD monitor.
