Announcement Regarding ISO14001 Certification
We would like to announce that on March 19, 2004 this company received ISO14001 certification under international standards on environmental management systems as detailed below.
Environmental philosophy
As a comprehensive manufacturer of broadcasting, communication and image data equipment whose activities consist of the manufacture and sale products in a range of fields including broadcasting, medical treatment, surveillance and inspection, Ikegami Tsushinki Co. Ltd. considers environmental preservation initiatives to be a priority management issue. Whilst aiming to conduct business activities in harmony with the local environment, Ikegami Tsushinki Co. Ltd. strives to both limit the impact on the environment and to preserve and improve the EarthÕs environment in response to the expectations of the international community, local residents and our customers.

In addition to observing environment related laws and other requirements, we will strive to prevent pollution and make ongoing efforts to improve environmental preservation activities.

We will establish and strive to achieve aims and targets in line with the following points and carry out reassessments on a regular basis and whenever necessary. |
- We will make efforts to develop and provide the public with technology and products that reduce the impact on the environment as much as possible.
- We will make efforts to develop resource and energy saving measures, lower emissions and expand recycling as part of all processes from development and production to waste disposal.
- As part of our social contribution activities, we will work on the preservation of and education regarding endangered species.
We will expand environmental preservation activities on a company wide scale, boost individual employee participation and implement and sustain environmental preservation systems.
