Digital Processing Compact 3 CCD Color Camera [THD-341F (NTSC)]

The THD-341F incorporates a high-performance 1/2 inch IT CCD, and employs the next generation of digital processing IC (ASIC) using cutting-edge image processing technology. The camera delivers superior picture quality with 850 lines of horizontal resolution and a signal-to-noise ratio of 62 dB. It has a high sensitivity of 2000 lx/f11. It also improves the compatibility and operability of the slit lamp for ophthalmologic applications by incorporating additional functions, such as the fluorescein mode function provided as standard. As an option, the camera can incorporate a range of functions, including still image recording, still image filing and DICOM transmission.

Features


The camera incorporates a high-performance 410,000-pixel 1/2 inch IT CCD, and the next generation of digital processing IC (ASIC). The unit displays clear and accurate images required for medical cameras.

The camera delivers superior picture quality with 850 lines of horizontal resolution and a signal-to-noise ratio of 62 dB. It has a high sensitivity of 2000 lx/f11. The device is perfect for medical applications, such as the slit lamp for ophthalmologic applications and biological microscopes.

The camera consists of a 1/2 inch 3CCD compact optical block, making the camera head compact and lightweight. It can be installed in surgical microscopes and suchlike.

The camera head is separated from the CCU. Therefore, the image can be adjusted and functions can be selected with the CCD at hand. In addition, the CCU can be set vertically, enabling optimal use of the space in which the unit is installed.

The camera incorporates a fluorescein mode function to clearly capture the parts affected by fluorescent lighting. This function is activated by simply pressing a switch on the front panel. The function is used for fluorescein inspections where it is hard to capture affected parts using conventional cameras due to the blue filter. It can also be operated using the optional footswitch.

A shutter iris function is used to maintain the optimum image level depending on changes in the illumination of the samples. The brightness can be adjusted manually using the volume on the front panel.

The front panel is displayed in Japanese to make it easy to understand.

You can freeze the video and store the image by simply pressing a switch on the CCU panel. This feature enables you to closely study the subject in motion. The function can be activated using the optional footswitch so that both your both hands remain free.

The camera is equipped with a level indicator that displays the image level on the front panel of the CCU, enabling you to constantly check the most suitable image level.

The DV output terminal comes as standard. The terminal can be connected with various DV-enabled devices such as PCs and DV video recorders to upgrade the systems.

The device features antibacterial coating on the camera head and CCU to enhance safety.

A Wide Range of Optional Functions
- Basic still image filing function: Enables the filing of still images by patient ID in an external HDD and suchlike
- JPEG output: Stores still images of the JPEG format in an external HDD or similar device
- DV motion picture recording: Stores motion pictures for up to three minutes in an external HDD or similar device
- Storage of high-quality still images: Stores high-quality still images (VGA) in an external HDD or similar device
- DICOM transmission: Transmits still images to a DICOM server over a network.
- DICOM patient information linkage: Searches for patient information and provides display in a list
