	Avid DNxHD145 Codec

Editcam Station HD employs the DNxHD145 Codec developed by Avid. This 145 Mbps Codec supports HD formats of 1080/59.94i, 1080/50i, 1080/24p, 720/59.94p and 720/50p, and provides superb HD video quality.

	Compatibility with Avid NLE

Recorded clips on the FieldPak2 and FieldPak-RAM are a native Avid MXF file format. This allows direct access and editing by Avid NLE's without the time consuming digitizing procedure. This recording method provides a fast, highly efficient editing workflow environment.

	Studio and Field Recording

The HDE-X11 includes provisions for both AC and DC input power to allow operation in studio as well as EFP (Electronic Field Production) applications. Any HD camera system with an HD-SDI output may be connected to the HDE-X11, thus extending record times and allowing for back-up or ISO recordings. Front panel menu controls allow for review and simple editing of recorded content. RS-232C & RS-422A 9-Pin connections allow for interface to VTR Type edit controllers.
