	The HTM-1980R broadcast monitor has the potential to be used as a master monitor for HDTV formats and for SDTV. This 19-inch HDTV/SDTV compatible multi-format color monitor can be employed for a variety of uses such as for editing in sub-control rooms, for rack-mounting, use in transmission control consoles or in mobile units. The HTM-1980R uses a 0.25mm Dot Trio Pitch flat screen CRT. Moreover, it is also designed to support Embedded Audio, which enables both audio and video monitoring using just the one monitor. .

			0.25mm Dot Trio Pitch flat screen CRT compatible with over 950 TV lines horizontal resolution.

			Auto detection makes HD-SDI/SD-SDI (4:2:2) input possible through the one module.

			Equipped with an (optional) HD-SDI/SD-SDI (4:2:2) Embedded Audio module, this enables 2 analog channels and 8 AES/EBU channels for audio output.

			Both audio and video can be monitored simultaneously with the built-in Audio Level Meter (optional) that supports Embedded Audio.

			A function that zooms in on 4:3 areas of 16:9 images using the whole CRT can produce a zoomed image equivalent to that produced by a 24-inch 16:9 CRT.
