Ikegami Tsushinki Co., Ltd. has successfully received an order and delivered 33sets of our newly developed top-of-line 3G HD Camera “HDK-97A”, 19sets of 17” LCD Monitor “HLM-1704WR” and 10sets of 9” LCD monitor “HLM-904WR” to Al Jazeera Sport in Qatar via our local dealer Teksignals based in Abu Dhabi.
3 days Camera Training was held at Ikegami HQ in Tokyo and our factory during May 15th-17th, 2012 in order to make it realize for video engineers more stable system operation and improve maintenance in Al Jazeera Sport.
The customer is going to use our 3G camera at their newly established studios - Studio-1, Studio-4, Studio-6, Studio-7 and Morning Studio.

In recent years, they have utilized 22sets of HD studio camera “HDK-79EXIII”, HD Box camera “HDL-50” and “LCD Monitors”. These products have been performing satisfactory without troubles as they expected, thus this would be a one of reason and background for their choice of Ikegami products this time in series.

“HDK-97A” features mass memory type FPGA, 40/45nm design rule, the video signals are digitized with 16-bit A/D conversion to achieve the highest possible picture quality.
New 2/3-inch 2.3 Mega pixel 1080 progressive CCDs are employed to support not only the usual 1080i 59.94/50Hz 4:2:2 1.5G formats, but also 3G formats such as 1080p 59.94/50Hz 4:2:2 and 1080i 59.94/50Hz 4:4:4.(Option). Furthermore, 1080i (119.88/100Hz), 1080p (29.97/25Hz), 720p (59.94/50/Hz/119.88/100Hz) are available as an option. Also, taking full advantage of its excellent sensors and video circuits, the HDK-97A offers natural looking pictures with 1000 TV lines of horizontal resolution, F10 sensitivity, and 62dB S/N ratio in HDTV (1080i mode).
